Since this site is open to the general public we reserve the right to edit messages for appropriate language and content and therefore the comments are sent via e-mail to us and then posted with my response if applicable.

We cannot always help, or find or sell a horse and thus we are not as such for hire nor do we put restrictions on my ads but it is our goal and joy to make that right connection and with our large network that often happens. We receive many nice notes--and work hard to keep it that way--and can't possibly post them all, however, we are always happy to refer those who need more feedback on us with friends and customers.

It's easy enough to post good reviews but are there also disappointing experiences? Yes of course, that is part of life but they are far and few between as you may read on this page. To date we have had three disappointing experiences: one with a boarder with unrealistic and fluctuating expectations a few years back (but with a happy and healthy horse delivered back with service beyond the call of duty), one with customers whom we gave up on after presenting horse upon horse upon horse, and one in which the horse passed away shortly before travel overseas, luckily with insurance coverage as we always recommend. Will everything always go right? No. That is part of life and what we take every precaution for and then have insurance for. Any seller of any product after an x-amount of time in the business will have some good and some bad experiences and tales. Can we make everyone happy? No. No one can make everyone happy but we sure make a lot of people happy. Will we always have a horse for you right when you need it? No, however, we will do our best to help you find your dream Friesian and so far quite a few people have. We are dedicated to doing our best and hold honesty and reliability very high. Hi Anneke, Earlier this year you were kind enough to talk to me on the phone regarding my Friesian that I thought I should sell. You were more helpful than you may know. Hello Anneke, Just a note to say thanks for all of your help and patience. Willis is doing really well. My 9 yr old daughter is in love with him and goes out to the barn for hours to spend with him. Willis will follow her all over and loves her company. He has presence and plenty of spirit. I have been amazed at how quick a learner he is. You would not have thought that when we were trying to get him in the trailer to bring him to his new home (he did not want to get in) but as I have worked with him here he is picking things up quicker than any horse I have owned. Hi Anneke, I said I would keep you posted on Jelle, but have been so busy enjoying him that I've been neglecting my emails. He has been home out of quarantine for 3 weeks. He has settled in very well and is all I imagined. We have bonded very well in this short time. He knickers at me every morning when I come into the barn to turn him out into his own attached paddock. He has been a joy to handle, ride and just be around. His manners an excellent and this
temperament is very special. I could not ask for anything more in a
Friesian stallion. I've sent a slide show of his Jelle blowing off a little
stream in the outdoor arena. He wasn't sure what to do at first, it has
been a long time since he seen more then stall walls. He walked around for
a minute then blow up like a bomb. He was so much fun to watch enjoying his

From Carol in Texas who bought Allard. I could not have been more pleased with the professional manner in which Anneke presented herself and Koningsland Friesians when I was shopping for a new horse. I visited 3 Friesians Farms and knew when I met Anneke and her horses, that she was the one I wanted to work with. She was very straight forward and never once tried to pressure me into buying one of her horses either on the phone or during my 2 visits. Of course, the horses sell themselves - once I saw Allard, my heart was stolen, not only by his beauty, but also his sweet personality and disposition.
When he arrived at my barn in Houston, he had a warm welcome and has settled in very well and has been the dream horse of so many there. I highly recommend anyone looking for a Friesian to visit with Anneke as she is extremely knowledgeable about the breed and has such a love for Friesians. Carol, July 2007.

Anneke: You are most likely going to be getting some inquiries about
horses from some folks in Minnesota. The man who has been working with Lysbert says that she is the most wonderful Friesian and most wonderful horse he has ever worked with and that they should not even bother with Midwest breeders. He is recommending anyone who wants a great mind and a fantastic mover should be talking to Texas. Lysbert is with him for a couple of weeks. She has passed the gold test as all of the old farmers in his area say "now that's a good horse". I hope that the keuring judges are also excited about her.

Hi Anneke - I hope you received my voice mail today. I was so overwhelmed that I could hardly leave you a message without crying! Meine is GORGEOUS! The pictures do not do him justice! Everyone was in awe of how beautiful and majestic he is. He arrived happy, healthy and in perfect condition! He already looks like a show horse. The best part is, as you will see from the pictures - he is a BIG LOVE! He is so kind, affectionate and sweet! Needless to say, he was enjoying all the kisses and hugs he got today (mostly from mom!) Can't remember exactly how I found your website but I certainly found it interesting and informative. I will check regularly regarding your Phryso translations. I receive the magazine but use it mostly as a "picture" book. Your website notes the dressage ability of Friesians but you might be interested to know that Friesians are doing very well in saddle seat. You might know that saddle seat people are very noisy and the louder the crowd the better. NOTHING more beautiful than a Friesian in action. Pam, 2/24/06. Thanks! It's a work in progress.
